My Grandma
Hey All, Just wanted to take a moment to let you all know that my Grandma passed away last night. She was slowly deteriorating and her passing was a long time coming, and, frankly, I'm relieved to see her go and to know that the state she was in is over for her now. She was a powerful, strong, bold woman, and I'm happy that she's in a better place now. Laura and I won't be coming home for the funeral, but Mom will be holding a memorial in the future for grandma. Laura and I are actually doing quite alright, our grieving has already happened and the idea of grandma not being with us is not a new one. We have her in our hearts and minds, as we always have. Thanks. |

Old UFCs
So I'm still watching the older UFC events... I got up to 29 at this point, which is right around when SEG Entertainment sold the UFC to Zuffa. Straight up, the UFC is dead at this point. UFC 29 was filmed in front of an audience of MAYBE five hundred. Maybe. And they had everyone on the card. Liddell, Ortiz, Militech, Couture, who had just won the heavyweight championship against randleman, was there. 500 people... maybe. Oh, and no PPV buys in America. The UFC was dead. |
